The Evidence is a brand new Sour Double India Pale Ale brewed with lots of raw wheat, fluffy flaked oats, and milk sugar. Hopped with Enigma and Amarillo and bombed with blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and boysenberry purées.

Pours a nice, thick, almost but not quite, smoothie. A beautiful purple.

Another wonderful brew from Veil. I wouldn't quite say it was as good as the Motive but pretty darn close. Easy 3. You guys are going to like this one. (not so subtle hint)

A guy could get used to these...
Meant in the most complimentary sense, Veil brews beer that defy styles.

Sure, I am sure underneath the 800 tons of fruit there is an original style, it just seems irrelevant to a lot of Veil offerings.

    Looking forward to it!

    Bourbon County Stout at Lowe's=LOL

No more "manufactured shortages," camping out or lotteries for that InBev product any more.

Seriously, there are advantages and I'm delighted you got #4, though I can't recall which one that is...

Apparently the “maple syrup with a hint of blueberry” one.

Poured with about an inch of frothy white head.

Smells like a tropical fruit salad- lots of orange, pineapple, and maybe even some pear.

Fruit pith bitterness and creamy mouthfeel are the first impression.
    Really luxurious.

    Quite a tangerine finish.

Land Grant is another “never had a bad beer” brewery that whenever devildeac shares one, I know I am in for a treat.

    No exception here- brilliant!

    Thanks, devildeac, and skol! 🍻
You're most welcome! I'd have bet a small amount of RJ199's pie and/or beer money that you would like that one.

    Not much head, didn’t last.

    Difficult to place the nose.
It would be easy to say nutty, and probably wrong.
Been a while since I’ve had a proper English Ale, the nose reminds me of noble hops.

Sweet caramel flows into something almost like grapefruit before a dry, woody finish.

Going to have to noodle on that mid-palate note a bit.
    Unusual.

If not for that twist, I’d call this a right down the middle typical brown ale.

At 10%, this is lethal. No real hint of how big this beer is.

Maybe its not grapefruit in the middle- maybe its more cherry.
Yeah, that’s some interesting thinking as I type this.

The grapefruit assertion is more dissonant; cherry (and maybe cherry wood) and honey makes more sense, and is more integrated.
    Maybe a temperature artifact.

    Regardless, highly enjoyable.

Another tip of the cap and thanks to devildeac!

    Skol! 🍻
Again, you're most welcome. Accfan has had the BBA version of this and thinks it's even better (d'oh!).

Underneath the bourbon, maple and ~14% ABV, I'll be really curious to read about how the blueberry performs.
