I gut purple first as well. The others are less clear. Going to come back to it later today... But I don't think purple was as tricky as they thought it was.

Personal challenge. A computer-resolved word search is inherently solvable. But since the spangram is also the theme, you need to see if you can ferret that out the clue based on what else you find to get the spangram first. For me, that makes it seem more like a real puzzle.
