This is legendary, for sure. But looking more closely, I'm curious what you guessed. I feel like the correct word is, at worst, the 6th most likely with that pattern. But that's subjective, and I could see one or two more obscure words being guessed instead.

Without a doubt, getting the first letter right on my second word made getting it in 3 much easier. Upon further review, my 3 was an eagle, not a bird.
Well I lost all my streaks while flying to Asia. The flight boarded before the puzzles were ready (I might have had a few minutes before takeoff, but didn’t think of it). I thought I would do them when we landed, but NYT apparently uses local time for the puzzles, so only Monday puzzles are accessible. Darn.
These are Monday’s puzzles. Layover in Seoul, which is 14 hours ahead (NYT puzzle time)

I play the mini-crossword first and use a 5-letter word from that to start Wordle (within reason). TOWER was in the puzzle. Wished I used NEWSY instead!I’m curious to know what your 6 first letters were?

No, what @OZZIE4DUKE and I were asking you is what 6 words in the pattern _OWER you guessed instead of ROWER. I was of the opinion that if you went in (an admittedly subjective) order of likelihood, it might be
