Aimee Lou Wood Says She’s ‘Not Hating’ on ‘SNL’ Star Sarah Sherman After Calling Out ‘White Lotus’ Parody as ‘Mean’: ‘I Am Not Thin Skinned… Not Her Fault’

Just finished it last night. After all of Piper's interest in Buddhism and seeming discomfort with her family's values, I got an unexpected kick out of her finding the monastery to be too austere...
Me, I would tend to not make my breakfast in a dirty blender filled with who the heck knows what, but that's just me.
I thought Dad's resignation was a decent touch.
As for Belinda, I think she ought to mail a decent sized check to her almost spa partner.
What about hapless Gaitok landing on his feet?
well, he didn't get shot in the head! He's still pretty hapless but looked pleased with himself driving the boss...Just finished it last night.
Did Gaitok really land on his feet though? His girlfriend was only interested in him if he rose in the ranks (status) and could provide more money and material comforts. She really liked him, but then when he talked about changing jobs to something more fitting with who he really is as a person, she lost interest.

good point. Hope Mook realizes, though, that Gaitok will need a lot of management...I viewed that story arc as the counterpoint to Chelsea/Rick. Chelsea tried to pull Rick back from his darker instincts and he couldn't give them up for love. Mook pushed Gaitok towards his darker instincts when he didn't want to give into them, but ultimately he did - for love.
I am really late to this party but the wife and I finished all three seasons over the last couple of weeks. My brief take is:
Season 1: great, loved it!
Season 2: worst of the 3 and likely would not have watched any other seasons if it had been the 1st
Season 3: good, solid effort but not up to season 1 level
Interesting. My order from best season to worst along with my letter grade is 2 (A), 1 (A), 3 (B). I thought season 2 was fantastic, but liked 1 almost equally. Different strokes, as they say.I am really late to this party but the wife and I finished all three seasons over the last couple of weeks. My brief take is:

Yeah, context is important so I’m guessing if I had to wait a year between seasons maybe my opinion of 2 might have been less based upon 1. The feel of 2 was so different from 1 while 3 felt closer to it. I might have to wait a few weeks and watch 2 again.Interesting. Yeah Murray made that entire season for me, I know Jennifer is beloved but I for whatever reason do not like her in any role I’ve seen. Her scenes were all my least favorites from both seasons, although she did have an amazing final scene.Careful resurfacing this thread! I know at least one DBR poster who could get triggered by their profound hate for the show!
I'd probably rank them in that order, though I think I enjoyed Season 2 more than you did. Season 1 has had the funniest characters by far with Murray Bartlett and our first introduction to Jennifer Coolidge's character.
I'll check out season 4 set in France: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jan/29/helena-bonham-carter-the-white-lotus

Well I meant her overall portfolio as an actress. She herself is an amazing person but I don’t appreciate her acting abilities. I’m not sure what it is honestly, maybe it’s a mix of her speech pattern and expressions when talking as I’m very sensitive to speech delivery (I get annoyed by certain cadences real bad). There are a few like that, I understand that they are good at what they do.I think probably because she’s incredibly unlikable by just about every pov. I think that’s what made her portrayal delightful for me. But for money…but for money…
