We didn't play FCGU this year. Perhaps you were thinking of USF?
Yes, alas that was the only game I got to this year and it was the ladies worst performance of the year. Looking quite a bit better in their tourneys thus far. Hoping they can make the Elite 8 to face South Carolina and then can maybe get a pep talk from Georgia Schweitzer.

In the "WOW, I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING" section of the newspaper today, there's this news.

FGCU was obviously one of the black marks on our record this year, and they've been on our schedule for the past three seasons (I think).

Oklahoma is killing Iowa! Caitlin Clark has not helped at all for Iowa today. 😋
Geez, and I had thought she was the best women’s basketball player in the world. 🤷‍♂️

BTW, it was great to see the Blue Devils win a tough game against Oregon yesterday. Is it still undetermined as to who will be Duke’s opponent in the Round of 16?

Did Clark even bother to show up to the game today? If so, did she dress out? Maybe if she cut her hair, and wore a different jersey she could fool the refs and get in the game?

While we won't know a time until tonight or tomorrow, per an email sent out by Duke, our game will be on Friday. Hopefully that's true and we can avoid playing the same day as the men again.

WVU shooting 24% (9% from 3) and only down 3 at the half. Their 21 PPG star has 2 points. Probably can't play much worse, they have to feel kinda good about their chances.

South Dakota State up 10-4 on UConn at the 1st quarter timeout. Wouldn't that be sweet? Way too early, I know, but SDS clearly not intimidated by the moment or opponent.
