You gotta be kidding me, Florida projected to be hit by Sara at the end of next week, possibly as a hurricane. If so, it will only be the 2nd to hit this late in Florida. To think that I used to relax quite a bit if I got through September.
Gotta be kidding .florida has had enough. You gotta be kidding me, Florida projected to be hit by Sara at the end of next week, possibly as a hurricane. If so, it will only be the 2nd to hit this late in Florida. To think that I used to relax quite a bit if I got through September.
It's still way out, but 95% of the spaghetti models have it hitting Florida...anywhere from Destin to Key West! But yes, the majority of tracks are between Tampa and Naples.Yeah, my wife and I are down in Florida now, south of you. I was thinking that we would not need to close the hurricane shutters when we leave on Saturday. I think we need to.
Good luck
Honduras may get 50 inches of rain. Would be disastrous. It's still way out, but 95% of the spaghetti models have it hitting Florida...anywhere from Destin to Key West! But yes, the majority of tracks are between Tampa and Naples.
Not lucky for the people living on the Yucatan Peninsula, but, yes, for Floridians it looks like that may weaken it substantially.Spaghetti suddenly converging to show Sara hitting just north of Tampa. Luckily it appears its time over the Yucatan will take a lot of the steam out of it and it's looking to remain a tropical storm. Not great, but not bad. Could still be a drencher without the higher winds.
Another plus, it will be moving very very fast across Florida.
What do you have planned for Belize? We loved our 2 weeks there. Not lucky for the people living on the Yucatan Peninsula, but, yes, for Floridians it looks like that may weaken it substantially.
I have a trip planned for Belize early next year....Seems like they're not going to get it as bad as Honduras but uncertain what the level of winds/rain will be there.
Apparently the high pressure system in the gulf is going to cause the TD to barely move for like 3 days straight so it's just going to stay in place off the coast of Honduras with a deluge of rain and then when that high pressure system finally moves east, then it will move more quickly north and then probably eventually east although it may die out by then. We shall see....
