About at the quarter pole for conference play and no surprises at the top. Pretty much every team you would expect to see with a winning record in conference play has one (maybe Stanford is a slight surprise at 3-2) and no real surprises among those who don’t – only two teams with losing records in conference play (FSU, Notre Dame) have Pomeroy rankings higher than any of the teams with winning records. Let’s take a look at the week ahead.

Those Tuesday night road games against sub-100 teams are the kinds of games that Louisville and Clemson can't lose if they want to be tournament teams. Can't lose many of em anyway.

ESPN is televising the Chiefs Texans game at 4:30. This will be the first time I record a Duke basketball game to watch later due to the Commanders game.

After scorching Duke with a barrage of three-pointers in Cameron on Saturday, the Irish are shooting a measly 22% (2-9) from behind the arc at home in the first half against BC.
Well, we all knew they would regress to the mean. It just happened 20 minutes of game time later than we suspected.

8 min to go in the game… ND 2-12 16.7% on 3’s. In the Duke game, ND made 14 3’s on 24 shots. ND made more than they even attempted so far… sigh

8 min to go in the game… ND 2-12 16.7% on 3’s.
So, over their past 2 games, the Irish are 16-36 (44.4%) on 3s. They are super hot!!

Just pointing out they have a few more misses in them for them to fully regress to the mean after the outrageous display they put on at Duke.

How bad is BC? They made 10-19 on 3's, while ND shot 3-15 from deep, shot nearly an identical % overall and yet BC loses by...18?

I see ND did it from the FT line, outscoring the Eagles by 17 from the charity stripe. Another WEIRD game involving ND!
