I’ll allow some hope. But I also want to point out what a surprise it would be if Jones is able to do anything in Indy. If he does, it’s a huge accomplishment.

He is, at least, a reasonable backup.

Of course, Thad Lewis had some very good games as well. I still think he never got the chance he deserved.

Kids were watching the ESPN talking heads this morning and I overheard someone saying that Richardson has to win this battle if he is remotely healthy or they look awful for drafting him that high. So Jones is starting from way behind, but if he is considerably better, they have to go with the guy who gives them the best chance of winning.

I’m seeing that we have made a new thread each season. The last one I could find was “Duke players in the NFL 2024”

Riley Leonard was gifted an entire half of playing time tonight due to Richardson's early injury. He's sadly working to ensure that this thread is the only one dedicated to a Duke quarterback, as he's been called for intentional grounding on a lonnnnnng sack, and just threw an INT on a terrible decision. (He did lead a nice scoring drive early, but that was long ago.)
