The longest thread ever

For some reason it's fall only for me. Other than that, just dust and cats.
Mine started that way. It went from no allergies to fall allergies in my earlier 30s to near year round in my 40s. I lust for those few cold weeks when nothing grows.

Maybe you can decipher that whole graduating with a first, or however they say that stuff.

Sure. Graduating with distinction for a master's degree is the same as graduating with a first for bachelor's degree. A first used to be roughly equivalent to summa cum laude in the US, but is now more equivalent to cum laude or higher. You get a first by having a 70% or higher average on all coursework. In the UK, a score of 70% or higher is considered excellent.

It's harder to get master's degree with distinction as a student must average 70% or above on coursework and receive a score of 70% or higher on their master's thesis.

After having to abort the first colonoscopy attempt, wife finally got it done. She's about 11 months older than I am and is very much looking forward to my turn.

Rainy day here outside Philly and a local radio legend has passed. Bummer.
Definitely an indoor day, and the radio legend was beloved. Almost 45 years in the tumultuous world of commercial rock radio. Just one of those kind, mellow voices with personal knowledge about many of the bands over the years, and "God bless the Grateful Dead!"

Figured it was too local to earn its own thread. We’ve been here about a decade and once you find wmmr, you’re loyal. The outpouring and stories say enough.
