The longest thread ever

As for Hallmark movies, you forgot having to save the family business (coffee shop, bakery, vineyard, B&B).

JFC. The Work Snake I mentioned a while back sent me a passive aggressive email this evening about an email I sent to our partners on a complicated deal we just closed. He sent them an email that was wrong and I replied all with a correction and he then took issue with me sending the correction because it rankled him.

I just got his deal closed and he has zero gratitude and nothing but complaints.

He copied our COO presumably to make me look back, but I’m sure the COO would have don’t the exact same thing.

Lord, please rid me of Work Snake and, in the meantime, make our unpalatable mutual endeavors favorable.

I rid myself of the work, snakes seem to stick around, unfortunately.

I was lucky in that I only had a year or so when I had to deal with a horrific work snake...ultimately he proverbially hung himself by sending an email to a LOT of people which was indisputably wrong about so many things he just lost all credibility. Very enjoyable sending out an email laying out all of his mistakes. Such is work.

On a similar theme - which is better, Willie Nelson or Patsy Cline on "Crazy?"

Discuss politely please.
Polite Mode: Nobody ... and I mean nobody ... belongs in the same sentence as Patsy Cline ... not even Willie. That's my island and I'm staying on it.

Disclaimer: I was always a Waylon man back in the day. I just couldn't get beyond Willie's reedy voice and tepid (to put it kindly) guitar playing.

who knew that one of my new lawn dudes is the state decathlon and pole vault champion? On his way to the New England Championships this weekend....
In my role as one-upper, the 'nocher and I ran track together in high school. Of course, I taught him everything he knows.
