The "Daniel Jones deserves his own thread" thread

Hopefully you all realize the NY Post does not speak for all of the Metropolitan area, any more in football than it does politically.
I do get that, but I check out the fan boards and they are also ultra fickle. Little love for DJ before this season, if any.

as a fan from the new york area, can confirm. I was loving the mets after the past week....but after they lost last night, I just had this carnal urge to want to fire everyone and start from scratch. It's in the blood of new yorkers.

I don't think the "what have you done for us lately" instinct is unique to the NY area. I mean, some people want to fire the offensive coordinator of our 5-1 Duke football team.
I'm not in that camp...but in their defense, that's actually not a case of what have you done for us lately.......that's a case of our play calling has survived due to a solid defense and weak schedule. (note, I see I was responding to a Duke analogy in a D Jones thread....sorry for confusion).....

Alabama fans flooded the internet to call for DeBoer's firing at halftime of the Vanderbilt game. At which time Bama was still undefeated and had beaten the #1 ranked team seven days prior.

Daniel seemed to have things going until he made an incredibly dumb pressured throw to four Bengals. Veteran QBs on big contracts don't make those plays. Not good.

I’ve rooted for DJ his entire career (and always will). But truth is I just don’t think he’ll ever be more than a Trent Dilfer-type QB.
