I believe that was Coach K, in the 2011-2012 season when they lost to Temple on 1/4/12.Who were they talking about in the story about a grandchild being born and a loss to Temple?
Gotcha! I thought Mason mentioned someone named Austin and I know Austin Rivers is too young to be a grandpa
If Caleb is 6'5" then Isaiah must be 6'8" if he isn't standing on a cinder block in that picture.New episode out, hosted by CFos, interviewing Isaiah Evans.
I think it is more like Foster is 6-3.5 and Evans is pushing 6-6.If Caleb is 6'5" then Isaiah must be 6'8" if he isn't standing on a cinder block in that picture.
GoDuke!
This was definitely CFos' toughest challenge, trying to find common ground with someone his grandparent's age who clearly has intellectual and cultural tastes that are far different than Caleb's, especially his interest in the NHL, and Dire Straights live from the Alchemy!!!Thanks… fascinating interview.
Late in commenting on this one, but it was a great episode! What an impressive man -- from the courage to be Duke's first black athlete, to a nuclear engineer, to a Ford innovation lab expert, to a marketing professor! I also wasn't expecting and loved his reference to "Sultans of Swing" from Dire Strait's "Alchemy" album, perhaps my favorite live song recording ever! This was definitely CFos' toughest challenge, trying to find common ground with someone his grandparent's age who clearly has intellectual and cultural tastes that are far different than Caleb's, especially his interest in the NHL, and Dire Straights live from the Alchemy!!!
I'm very late to commenting on Dr. Clairborne's appearance, but it is a must see. He is such an impressive person. I thought Caleb did a great job, too.Late in commenting on this one, but it was a great episode!
