Remember, technology has advanced since the period covered in the Wainstein report. After the tutors write the papers for the players, they no longer have to physically drive them to the TA's in order to submit them. They can send the fake papers electronically.

It comes just as we learn an interesting if not entirely exact point of comparison: former UNC coach Mack Brown revealed that one of the concessions to new coach Bill Belichick is to lower academic requirements for football.

So now the cheats can admit such academic achievers as Charles Shackleford (Mr. Amphibious!) and Chris Washburn.
