I don't mean to revive a deservedly moribund thread but I read over the weekend a story that BB's girlfriend is apparently even younger than had been previously reported.

Edit, I was wrong. These words top everything.

It may be that the Belichick way is the best way to build, or rebuild given the change over on the roster, a college football program.

It's not, definitively, the best way to boost fan engagement. UNC is going to have to hope the well produced social media videos and the Super Bowl rings and the promise of more wins under Belichick sell the program because the $10-million per year coach isn’t in that business.

Have we noted that she is competing for the Miss Maine title? You can't make this stuff up. Participating in the Miss America nonsense is entirely different up here in northern New England than it is in a place like Texas where a gadzillion women compete. Almost no one competes up here. A lot of women find the whole process degrading and idiotic... This I know because I happen to know a woman who was always devising stuff for her daughter to compete in, and she figured why not Miss Vermont? And she won, besting not very many other women in a totally lackluster affair.... .maybe Bill B. likes sashes, I dunno.

Now that Kelly Flagg is no longer a Maine resident, the path to Miss Maine got a lot easier - I can imagine her reaction to things like that...

When I saw that tidbit, I was thinking you might have an opinion. The page I saw said she was runner up last year in the Miss Maine USA pageant.

Interesting. My daughter married a gent from Stowe. I recall one young lady invited to our Atlanta wedding was a current or recent Miss Vermont. FWIW, keen competition or not, she was indeed very attractive.

we have a few dozen attractive women up here, glad you got to meet one of them! It does vary by year, but the competition for the Miss Vermont crown is not what anyone would call keen.
