NFL Survival Pool 2024

As per more or less annual tradition, I have set up two NFL Survival pools for the upcoming season. Pick a different team each week and keep going until your pick loses.

Pool #1 is here. No strikes for this one...miss a pick and you're out.
Pool #2, here, is a one-strike league. You get a mulligan after missing one pick, but your second wrong selection eliminates you.

As ever, this is more fun if more people sign up.

I'm in. Let's see how this turns out. I must confess I'm a wee bit nervous about the outlook for the Steelers. If Russ has anything left, they could surprise people. There are still enough holes and question marks where the season could go kablooie! (technical term). They got played for suckers in the whole Aiyuk soap opera. I will allow myself to be entertained, until I'm not anymore....

Saw a Russ injury update today. As a Seahawks fan and Russ fan, I think he's toast.
 
You can join after the Chiefs-Ravens game, you just are not allowed to pick that game. I think you could even join up until the 4pm games on Sunday... maybe.

Bungles always gonna bungle!! What was I thinking?!? I thought Fields was servicable today, but it's hardly a sign of encouragement when your best offensive player is the field-goal kicker.

Week 1 bloodbath! Mostly due to the aforementioned Cincinnati Bungles, we have more than a third of the no-strikes field already eliminated and over 60%(!!!!!) of the one-strike group (myself included) already with no remaining margin for error.
I've been participating in this competition through DBR for at least a decade or so, and I can't remember there ever being so much carnage right out of the gate.
