NFL 2024-25 General Discussion

I’m curious how one becomes a huge Seahawks fan without having ever been to Seattle.

Steelers, Cowboys, etc I can understand. But Seattle?
I was a huge Seattle SuperSonics fan because of Xavier McDaniels was a South Carolina local when they drafted him. Fandoms can be weird.

I'm neutral about them but really really like their color scheme.
Me too. Their original blues and original helmet are some of the best ever. I don’t like the electric green they added a few years ago. But the originals were classics. Those, the Lions and the Dolphins throwbacks are the best in the NFL IMO. Giants and Niners behind them. And Rams way back blue and white throwbacks.

Color me flabbergasted at Goff's performance last night in Detroit. Great back and forth game, just slinging the ball by both teams. Two Duke pros for the seahawk?! Detroit was loose and fierce, even with plenty of dumb penalties on the defense. Goff's first entire career touchdown? We were laughing like loons on the couch

The Lions have some serious talent on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not so sure about their defense this season. Both teams looked like they had forgotten how to tackle. St..Brown's outstanding catch toward the end of the game for a TD gave me a fantasy football win. Go Lions.

I am crazy in love with Amon-Ra, nicknamed "Saint" and also with David Montgomery "The Truth"

Last night I turned off the game with Tampa Bay leading when Cousins threw an INT with 1:45 left. It had been a good game, but no sense in watching when victory is sealed.

I woke up this morning to the news that Atlanta won it in OT.

Irving RB for Tampa lost a fumble that cost the Bucs the game. Then Mooney who had an outstanding game dropped a pass that looked like it cost the Falcons the game. Then Cousins went to work with little time on the clock, he got the team close enough for Woo to hit a 52 yard FG that sent the game into overtime. Then in OT, Cousins hit a little used WR for the game winning touchdown. It was a great game to watch.

GoDuke!
