Meh.I think some of us — myself prominently included — were a bit quick to write off the Knicks. They’re still in this series after a resounding victory over the Pacers tonight.

It took a miracle comeback/collapse for the Pacers to win Game 1; it could easily have been 3-2 Knicks right now. Of course, it's not, so the Knicks still need to win two more, but if they can win again in Indy, they're going to have a lot of momentum heading into Game 7.I think some of us — myself prominently included — were a bit quick to write off the Knicks. The Pacers will be favored, both in Game 6 (because they're at home) and in the series (because the Knicks need to win two, the Pacers only one).Meh.
I see as last gasp of pride.
Have I told you lately how brilliant and handsome you are?The Pacers will be favored, both in Game 6 (because they're at home) and in the series (because the Knicks need to win two, the Pacers only one).
But it's not because the Pacers are inexorably better; to the contrary, it's been a close series, both by the eye test and statistically. If anything, the Knicks have been a bit better overall - leading by both point margin and efficiency. The Pacers have been a little luckier, largely based on the last two minutes of Game 1, which is the difference in the series right now.
Anything could happen in Game 6, including a convincing Pacers (or Knicks) win. So I agree with Steven - aside from Thunder/Nuggets Game 7, it's the game of the playoffs so far.
I assume you intended to reply to me?Have I told you lately how brilliant and handsome you are?

Seriously, what is wrong with this Doyel dude? He’s just a provocateur. I have no respect for that type of behavior. None.Hahaha. A jerk from the Wayback Machine.
I passed your quiz, and will go back to forgetting about that waste of space for another decade or so.
He gives off major “O’Doyle Rules” vibes.Seriously, what is wrong with this Doyel dude? He’s just a provocateur. I have no respect for that type of behavior. None.
Oklahoma City is going to put a defensive stranglehold on Indiana, unfortunately. I just don’t see how the Pacers can overcomey the Thunder’s defensive intensity and pressure.OKC -750 to win the Finals. Off memory this is the most lopsided matchup since the Warriors/Lakers in 2018 and Lakers and 76ers/Nets from the early 2000's.
Typical Knicks. Just can't stand to have any success.Thibs is out, according to the Athletic. Wow.
"The New York Knicks fired coach Tom Thibodeau on Tuesday, a league source confirmed.
Thibodeau, 67, led the Knicks to the Eastern Conference finals this season, their furthest playoff run since 1999-2000, but the team saw its best chance at reaching the finals end in a disappointing six-game defeat at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. In five seasons in New York, he went 226-174 in the regular season, leading the team to the playoffs four times."
Yeah, I am shocked. I think they are high on their own supply here. The only positive that could come out of this, for me, is if they hire Hurley and it screws UConn.Typical Knicks. Just can't stand to have any success.
I would assume Michael Malone will be a frontrunner to take over.
