I was surprised to see zero votes for Scion. There has been a lot of (well-deserved) Scion love around here as of late and I thought he had an especially good game.

2nd in minutes played with 29
3-3 FG
1-1 3PT
7-8 FT
Team high (tied with Cooper) 6 assists to 1 TO
Two rebounds and a steal

I went with Tyrese, but it was close. I thought Tyrese, while leading the team in points and three point bombs, also started up the PnR ManMan alley oop dunk train that has been absent the last few games. The oops became contagious. Even Cooper got in on the action, which is more often reserved for Tyrese and Kon.

sci·on
noun

  1. a young shoot or twig of a plant, especially one cut for grafting or rooting.

Thankfully, Sion is neither young nor twiggy. ;) (And as you point out, he's been a great part of this team.)

Oops, thanks! I really thought his name was spelled Scion, like the car.

Sion was definitely born around the time that Scions were available, and all season I have thought that was the origin of his name!

I have run into many people who share names with cars. It's a thing, or at least in Atlanta it is a thing.

Mercedes, Lexus, Hudson... et al
