Too bad Man Man picked this game to play his best one- many times he would have deserved MOTM

Not trying to influence votes -- if you want to vote for a third player, go for it -- but this is, at best, a 2-man race.

Cooper Flagg: 42 pts (11-14 FG, 4-6 3PT, 16-17 FT), 6 reb, 7 ast, 1 stl
Khaman Maluach: 19 pts (6-7 FG, 7-8 FT), 10 reb, 1 blk

Rest of team: 25 pts (7-24 FG, 4-18 3PT, 7-10 FT), 18 reb, 10 ast, 1 stl

As expected as thread derailments. DBR just DBRing. Grumbling aside, there is a small comfort in DBR not giving unanimous MOTM to someone who set the Duke AND ACC freshman single game scoring record. It's one thing to expect excellence, but we expect excellence excellence. Just excellence is sooooo mundane.

And was responsible for at least 56 or the 86 points scored today.

GoDuke!

Brevity, you made a mistake in the poll. For some reason there are 10 choices.

But...

I am a bit rusty from the lessons of the beloved CJ Skender at Duke (one of the best professors I had and a huge hoops fan) but I think that somewhere in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) there is a rule regarding being a "that guy" and voting completely against common sense. I believe any decent auditor would pick it up and remove the incorrect vote.
