This was a tough choice for me as I’m a huge Isaiah Evans fan (us Fayetteville boys have to stick together) and he was our leading scorer with 21 points but I voted for Ngongba who not only scored 17 points but also played tough defense against the SMU big man.

Those almost feels like a “none of the above”, but Pat was facing an outsized big man and more than held his own, so my vote goes there. He didn’t even start, but he showed some good post moves, drew some good fouls, and did a nice job defending one of their more formidable players. If anyone had an above-average game, it was Pat.

I admit that IE is my favorite player so I'd like to vote for him, but I also wanna give Big Oat some love for his game. Of course Cam is the best.

Pat played better than his average by a wider margin than anyone else. Otherwise it’s Cam B. CFos took a nap.

I went with Isaiah. His 3 off a Cam assist at the end of the game and his closing FTs swung my vote. I think Pat was a close 2nd. I think Jon might have gotten Pat's attention after the FSU game and it paid off. He can really be a big part of a special season. Sad to see Caleb couldn't build off his last game. Maybe he was ill.

GoDuke!

I voted for Pat but could have voted for Slim. Slim hit important shots at critical times, but Pat handled their big oaf who seemed to be playing football. Pat kept him in check, didn’t ever retaliate for dirty plays, and also scored key baskets. He fought hard the whole game.

Pat, Dame, and both Boozers are tempting to varying degrees, but I went with Isaiah for an efficient and team-leading 21 points with several high degree-of-difficulty plays (the pump fake into a 360-spin into a three; the flair screen/shot fake/three; the drive/spin/kick out to Dame) and crucial points late (7 points in the last 1:15 of what was a 5 point game).
