Big Pat. But Booz is just unreal. My UNC fan best friend texted me that Cameron is better than Coop. I told him he was dumb in the head. Maybe he’s right tho

I probably would have voted for Patrick but the lack of a rotation/closeout on that go ahead 3 pointer really got to me... Still a great game from the sophomore with lots to build on and probably just as much to work on.

Maliq Brown, and here's why.

This looked like a win, until Fland drained that 3, and suddenly it didn't. Then Isaiah sank his only 3 of the night with 21 seconds to go, and we're up 67-66. But there's still time for Florida to pull off a win.

Florida, defending National Champs, played some very tough ball. They'd taken advantage of defensive lapses, and still had a chance with 1.4 seconds left for a catch and shoot. Haugh is inbounding, and the way things had been going in the final minute, it seemed possible that a Florida heave might drop.

Pat and Cameron played so well, and Isaiah made that critical three-pointer, his only one of the night, so no doubt they deserve the accolades. But if Maliq doesn't deflect that inbounds pass, this could be an inquest, not a celebration.

So to me, Maliq Brown sealed the deal and tonight he got my vote. Besides, that flagrant 1 was nonsense and tonight just felt like the right time to vote for #6. Basically, a vote of thanks for all that he's brought and brings to the team.

I voted for Pat. His defense was great, but he also had 5 assists and only 2 turnovers. The only negative in his game is that he sometimes jogs back down the court. He needs to look at how Cam gets back down court.

GoDuke!

Lots of choices in this game but Ngongba was tenacious on both ends of the court so he earned my vote. I certainly wouldn’t argue with anyone who voted for Cam Boozer or Maliq Brown.

Evans was ice cold from 3 until the dagger at the end.

Even though Cam was the best player and Pat was great, I went with Evans because he made the shot when it mattered most and had 5 blocks. He found a way to meaningfully contribute even when his best weapon wasn't working.

Maliq would've been my second choice because of that final play.

Booz may be more important for Duke than Coop was, but Coop has more breathtaking highlights. Absurd that we get to compare these two.
