I mean you have to give it to boozer double doubles are so common place. We forget just how good that guy is. But Evans is showing signs of all ACC caliber play. His game has so dramatically improved from last year.

I didn’t watch the game so I’m not voting but watching the highlights it was obvious Cal had no answer for Cam Boozer inside.

I was super tempted to pick Boozer, but the story of this game was defense, and Sarr just took Dai Dai Ames right out of this game. Dai Dai came in averaging 18ppg, but he couldn't do much of anything against Dame and only scored 8 points against just three assists, 2 TOs, and a single rebound. Cal was looking to him a lot, but the best he was able to do was to draw one shooting foul and hit a few fadeaways from the mid-range. He was completely neutered.

I love Cam, and we don't win without him, either, but Dame was spectacular on defense today. (Well, "today" from my point of view, anyway.)

I considered Cam, for all the usual Cam reasons, and Isaiah, who played very good defense along with his 17 points (several of which gave Duke some breathing room and energy when they needed it, and helped open up the floor for Cam) plus, for the second game in a row, some spectacular highlights.

But I went with Nik. On a night when Cam and Isaiah were more or less what you expect from Cam and Isaiah, and nobody else was consistently very good, Nik stepped up with some important solid play. His most minutes since the MI State game, 10 points, two offensive rebounds, solid D, no turnovers.
