I think the 10 fouls from our two bigs should be more than enough to cover Dickinson. And as pointed out, there will be backside help from Cooper.

It will be interesting to see which guy does a better job of defending him. The obvious choice seems to be Man Man but Maliq makes every opposing big miserable the second they catch the ball. So who knows?

I listened to Jay the other night and was greatly subdued from the past. He didn't have to have something to say about every play. I actually enjoyed his commentary and that is something coming from one of his most consistent critics. Keep up the good work, Jay.

It's actually Shulman who drives me more up the wall... The dude gets excited about the most mundane stuff, but not in an endearing way like Vitale. You kinda want Jay to say, "Dan—relax... it was a layup, and we're only three minutes into the game. There's a long way to go. Don't exhaust yourself. They're paying you to make it through the entire game."

Two thoughts:

When was the last time that the #1 team in the country was the underdog to a team outside the top 10 when they were not playing as true visitors (the other team’s home arena)?

I am a proponent of man defense. However, given Kansas’ low output from 3pt and a goal of trying to deny entry passes to Dickinson, is this a game where we whip out some zone? Maybe 1-3-1? Or maybe we just let Dickinson eat, as scottdude as others have suggested

He’s one of the most knowledgeable commentators out there. That said, he can be brutal as hell, especially when exercising his “objectivity” bona fides by bashing our sweet Devils.

Yikes......horrible start.

Looks like teams will be ultra physical with Flagg and double him whenever they can.

Will force someone else to step up an so far nobody can get to the rim or hit an open shot.

We'll need the transfers to help settle things down.

We have been worrying about the offense. Kansas playing extremely aggressively defensively so far. Duke starting their offense 5 feet behind the 3pt line. Sticking around the perimeter.

Need to attack and limit turnovers. Flagg needs to be more decisive. The Duke player who has his defender leave to double has to be prepared to attack the rim
