I think, for B.C. There’s gonna be a heartache tonight, a heartache tonight I’m sure
I’m concerned that in the same way that the posters of this board are totally ignoring this game (multiple posts on every thread except this today), the players might come in overconfident looking past them as well. Every team we play, even Miami, is filled with division one level scholarship basketball players. Anybody can beat anybody on any given night, and we better not wankerin’ blow this one. As others have pointed out, we don’t have a lot of potential “good wins” ahead of us in the schedule but we have a lot of potential bad losses. I’m confident the team will come out focused, especially Coop as BC is near-ish Maine, but I have some concerns and can’t wait ‘till this one’s done with a big fat W in our win-loss column
Go Duke! 9F!
Yeah, but that means we're 13-1 in games he didn't officiate. So far this Duke squad is 2-1 in Groover games (Kentucky, Auburn, SMU).
Watch the tosses. The refs are never getting it up to 10-11 feet. They are tossing it 9-5 and it's a question of quick hands. Can we address our tip-off issues? I dont get it. Tallest team in the country. 7’2” jumping for the tip. Surely we’ve battled and believe he’s the best guy for it. Yet it seems we’ve won about 1 or 2 tip-offs this year…
By “address” I meant discuss in the forums, not telling Jon to do something about it
It's the Duke bench, and I believe it's to tell the team there's about 8 seconds left on the shot clock so they can push for the shot clock violation?Who is chanting “THREE! THREE!” every possession (offense or defense) once the shot clock gets under 10? It has been happening every Duke game, and I can’t fathom the purpose.
Yep, exactly. It's a bit obnoxious to hear but I can see why it's helpful to the D. Wonder whose job that is?It's the Duke bench, and I believe it's to tell the team there's about 8 seconds left on the shot clock so they can push for the shot clock violation?
