This is heartbreaking and I pray someone can intervene. It also sounds like he's potentially on something as he's recording that. Hoping that Kyle gets the help he needs.

Love and Singler know each other from their HS days in Oregon. Don't know if they're friends or good friends, but I think they're bit more than just acquaintances. Speculation on my part but it seems like Kyle is feeling marginalized and could be taking recent events very hard. He would not be alone in that feeling.

He's living in a large but empty house. Perhaps last Tuesday was the final straw but the empty house (not one thing that showing that he tried to create a home) suggests longer term issues.

I'll be honest, this thread feels a bit uncomfortable to me. Watching someone struggle in such a public way feels almost voyeuristic, regardless of the intent.
I hope Kyle gets some good support, but I think I'm going to depart from this thread. No judgement on anyone else, it just feels very awkward to me. I've seen enough mental health first hand to recognize that this isn't a good situation.

Yeah. Makes sense and is what I suspected. Having worked in mental health, this stuff just doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a slide. It’s going to be a very long road for Kyle and the outcomes are not favorable. Hopefully someone at Duke can help and connect with him on this journey. I suspect K will try to jump in at some point unless he already has tried.

I understand you but hope you realize that those of us posting here are doing so to encourage others to reach out to Kyle and show support. It takes a certain level of desperation and/or bravery for Kyle to reach out like this and it would terrible not to reach back.
I’m so sorry and saddened to see Kyle’s situation. I will continue to follow this thread even though it is currently depressing, in the hope of getting some good news that help is on the way.

I can't watch the videos.
There's nothing in the videos that makes me think this is politically related. I'm picking up more of the sense that people have been trying to take advantage of him. There's a long history of athletes making a lot of money in their careers and then having people take advantage of them during and after their careers. He mentions something about trouble trying to get a business going.
I agree it’s not political but you are missing a large part of those videos and I’ll just leave it at that.

I think it's a reaching out on his part, so it's quite possible the larger audience this has there is a greater chance that someone who can help will help. Nobody can help if it's kept in solitude.
