Kon Knueppel declares for the NBA Draft

I'm not saying "I told you so" about Knueppel being as good as he became, but I did see the fire and athletic gifts in his high school days - and knew he would be a special Duke player (though no one saw how special before this year.) I never expected him to stay, but it now realize that this is only the first brick in Duke's 2025 wall to be removed. Best wishes Kon! Without you, we wouldn't have had the season we did - even though we really should have won the Natty! You a brilliant basketball player who will make us proud for a long, long time.

What a player. Obviously he was much better than just about anyone expected. Moreover, he was a great team player and contributed so much to winning. I will remember him diving for loose balls as much as I will remember the 3 pointers.

Thanks for one of the most memorable seasons by an intriguing and engaging player. I respect how Kon deported (Not in the current vernacular of deported!) himself and his game was intelligent beyond his years. Will look forward to observing his future success and lifetime participation in the brotherhood!
