Jeopardy watch...

There is now a new 'super champion' on Jeopardy who won his 11th consecutive game tonight.

He seems really strong. His knowledge base is broad. He is quick on the buzzer. He could put together the longest win streak of the season. It wouldn't surprise me if he were to win 20 or more games.

He has an impressive range of knowledge. Seems like a nice person, too.

His intro repeatedly states he is "originally from Terre Haute Indiana." But your final Jeopardy question/clue today is, where does he actually live?
Evidently he lives in the UK which, last I saw, isn't even a state! Seems cooler to me than Indiana, but what do I know?

Yeah he occasionally has a little bit of an accent. But his constant swaying is going to make me nauseous!

I believe he lives in London. Online research (and recaps at thejeopardyfan.com) indicate he got his PhD in Cambridge, then stayed in London to work. Apart from his full time job, he also writes questions for a popular British trivia show, University Challenge (upon which he competed while at Cambridge). Based on that resume, he's not a surprising 11-time (and counting) champion.

ya, just seems a bit odd they always revert to "originally from Terre Haute" when to many people London might be considerably more interesting...then again, maybe he's afraid they'll take his passport away.

Your comments sound rather elitist to me but what do I know.
