Thanks. Jeffrey and I have disagreed on a few things before. It’s fine. Los of places where I have sincerely appreciated him, and hopefully he feels the same about me.

I don’t take offense to certain opimions but understand the push to keep the deeper talk off here.

Mea culpa.

Any consensus on pharmaceutical stock with the expected role of Mr. Kennedy in the Trump administration?

I hold 3 big pharm stocks. I'm way up on Bristol Meyer Squibb (BMY) and Gilead Health Sciences (GILD). I'm way down on Pfizer. I'm wondering whether to take the gains on the first two and sell.

I’ve been thinking about the need for more electricity worldwide over the next decade and decided to look into the Nuclear space a little closer. It appears that in the past couple of years the technology and safety advances have made nuclear a more acceptable alternative to oil and natural gas.
That narrative seems growing as well with other investors.

Two young companies have peaked my interest.

Nano Nuclear Energy (NASDAQ: NNE)

Oklo (NYSE: OKLO)

I haven’t pulled the trigger on an investment yet, still investigating the background of both companies, but so far there’s been no real red flags.

My pharma stocks have tanked…LLY, MRK.

One minor quibble. Nuclear isn’t really in competition with oil, which isn’t used much for electricity production, as it is with coal, Nat gas (which you said), and the various renewable electricity producers.

I mean oil can be but is a tiny fraction compared to the other sources since it is suited for transport fuel and chemical manufacturing.

Good point. My mind in that post was really more in the framework of people are now seeing the Nuclear option as acceptable, and technology has improved from the past safety issues to the point that I think it’s about to become a strong growth space.(Next 5-10 years).

I’m looking at selling some of my gold, which I feel like might be topping, and go with a little more aggressive approach over the next year or so with one of these Nuclear companies to test that assumption.

I’m leaning right now towards OKLO due to their association with Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI and also Chairman of OKLO.

Seems there may be a built in pipeline of demand for OKLO’s energy output for OpenAI’s ever growing energy needs?

Hey duke79,
What is happening to my money? I didn’t like this week.
The bump was because the election was over quickly and didn’t drag for days, weeks or months. Markets hate uncertainty. Yesterday was reality sinking in. For some reason the market was surprised that someone was actually doing what they said they were going to do and will probably continue to do so. For those paying attention, there will be conflicting interests within the new administration from day one that are going to be diametrically opposites. On one side you will have a push for regulation on banks, energy, environmental standards. On the other side you will have a push for more regulations on pharmaceuticals, environmental standards, and food production. It’s a result of the coalition that was cobbled together.

“An old man passed me on the street today;
I thought I knew him but I couldn't say.
I stopped to think if I could place his frame.
When he tipped his hat I knew his name.”

Uncertainty, hello old friend.

It will last until one side pushes the other out within the administration.
