I agree wholeheartedly. MTSU is last warm up before the ACC schedule kicks off and we need the offense firing on all cylinders when Carolina comes to Wallace Wade as the last couple meetings have been close high scoring games:

2023: 47-45
2022: 38-35
 
September 22, 2022: Middle Tennessee State 45, Miami 31. Miami came in a 25/5 favorite. Ity was a Cristobal Miami team, not Diaz. Don't think it will happen to the Devils, but don't get too comfortable.
 
Home and home series with a team we thought we could beat. That was Cut's basic math to get to six wins/year, and it made perfect sense.
As our program improves (and it has) we can become more adventurous in our out of conference games, but for quite some time the magic formula was getting to six wins with at least three seemingly easy (you never know) OOC tiffs.

Something having to do with arithmetic and barnyard fowl comes to mind here...and I'm being more serious than not. Let's play with passion and take care of business.
 
Low 90s, high humidity, mostly clear skies in middle TN today. I hope Manny has a plan to play a lot of his bench today, regardless of score.
