FB: Duke 26, UConn 21

A couple of viewing notes.

I couldn't get the game to display on my computer (ACCNX). A codec was missing.
I couldn't get full screen display on my iPhone.
I finally got a good display on the ESPN app on my Apple TV.

When they break for commercials I am getting ads for App State.
Maybe it's because I'm in Greenville, SC which may close to Hickory/Boone for the tv folks.

I had to use my edge browser. I’m guessing one of my privacy addons is interfering. I keep edge clean.

ACCNX is not an extra if you have ACC Network though your provider. It just means it is streaming only. You should be able to go to ESPN’s site, find it on their list of games to stream, login with the credentials you use for your provider and watch. On computers, it is straightforward. On devices, you might need an app. On televisions, you should be able to do it with apps, but I do not know how to do that.
You are correct. Easy to stream on the Ipad.

Good 1st half with the exception of one bad play. A bit of bad luck on that one.

We need to get the offense clicking on our first 2nd half possession.

It was me ... I turned on the game on YouTube at the start of the 2nd half ... I'm turning it off now, but maybe the damage is already done.

First game I have been able to watch this season. Our RBs are not very big. Let’s go get a Ron Dayne in the portal.

Two good things happened on Thomas last run where he slid down at the 4 yard line. That allowed Duke to run out the clock with the V-formation... essentially no risk. He prevented himself from being viciously tackled and possibly fumbling.

As I said in chat it was 45 minutes of really good football around 15 minutes of really bad football. On balance I'm happy.

Part of me wonders that in the age of analytics and where winning margin matters, whether the calculus has changed and scoring that touchdown (and introducing the 0.1% chance that UConn can drive the field, TD, onside kick, and TD again) is outweighed by the benefit of beating them by a margin much closer to Vegas's expectation.
