That's what stood out to me: our receivers got absolutely no separation. Though the QB ws only 12 for 24, I thought he threw for the most part very accurately- but to a man completely covered. These were quick passes, none of that "going through hs progressions" that all the commentators love to talk about. Maybe at least occasionally the QB should look for a second option.
Watching too much football, it seems to me that often the most successful plays are the QB going back to pass, get the defense to react and fall back, and then take off and run for long yardage. We don't see that with our QB.
