Dukies on the 2026 PGA and LPGA Tours

I know it's early, but I'll forget to post this bit of info in 2 weeks. Also, I don't think there's enough interest around here for a separate PGA Tour thread, so PGA and LPGA Tour news can be posted here.

For the 1st time since 1953, the Tournament of Champions (now called The Sentry) will not kick off the season. Due to drought conditions and such the 2026 event has been cancelled. The Sony Open in Hawai'i will start the season on January 15th.

I believe Alex Smalley and Max Greyserman are the only Dukies with full PGA Tour cards. Kevin Streelman will play some events to try and reclaim full status (see 2025 thread for details).

We have 11 LPGA Dukies (obviously the boys need to step it up):

Ana Belac, Yu Liu, Emma McMyler, and Erica Shepherd finished in the top-25 in the Q-series (what the LPGA calls Q school). Congrats!

Anne Chen won the Epson Tour Championship so she's in. Congrats!

Returnees: Laetitia Beck, Celine Boutier, Lindy Duncan, Gina Kim, Leona Maguire, and Miranda Wang.

Jokes on me. I completely forgot Stanford is in the ACC now.
I've never really accepted that Stanford (or Cal, for that matter) is REALLY in the ACC. Seems like they're the ACC's foster children who will be gone as soon as a suitable home is found for them.

Alex is playing in Honolulu next week. Last year he had a T16, here's hoping he can start off the season strong again.

Yikes. Alex is +4 through 9 and has fallen 37 spots. So he's not missing the cut yet, but is blowing a great 1st round. arnie will appreciate his double-bogey on 15.
