Good but odd round. Played the par 5’s 1 over and still shot a 69 (most good rounds take advantage of the 5s).Greyserman cards a -3 (69) today to improve to -1 for the tournament. Max moves up 16 spots to T24.

#44 withdrew. Alex is the betting favorite to win, FWIW.Alex tees off at 7:09 EDT in the off-event with reduced points. This will be the weakest field he sees all year, his best chance to win, and he needs a top-5. He's currently #55, and only 3 higher players are in the field: #44, 53, & 54. He MUST do well.
Just beat me to it. -5 keeps him in contention but he’ll be around 10th at the end of the day and 3-4 strokes back. The winning score looks like it will be -20 and maybe closer to -24…Alex with a really good -5 and is currently T6. Only "really good" because they're tearing up the course and 90% of the scores still to come.
Projected cut is already -3, so expect it to move to -5 or even -6 over the day. Leader sitting at -10.Just beat me to it. -5 keeps him in contention but he’ll be around 10th at the end of the day and 3-4 strokes back. The winning score looks like it will be -20 and maybe closer to -24…
Not feeling very optimisticAlex needs to kick butt this afternoon. The highest ranked golfer above him on the leaderboard is #77. Opportunity awaits.

Good point. Today’s tee times.Maybe I'm in a time warp (Central European Time will do that), but we never seem to mention Max Greyserman, who is T-21 at the premier event at Harbourtown this week on Hilton Head.
Unlike Smalley, Max’s agent doesn’t actively post on this Board.Maybe I'm in a time warp (Central European Time will do that), but we never seem to mention Max Greyserman, who is T-21 at the premier event at Harbourtown this week on Hilton Head.

Not quite the worst round of the day, but damn close. He's only going to get a few points out of this weekend. Better than nothing I suppose, and the way he's going he might need them at the end of the year to keep his card. He's dropped 15 spots in the last month.Alex Smalley falls to T54 at the Corales Puntacana due to a +4 (76). He is -3 overall.
