Dukies on the 2025 PGA and LPGA Tours

BTW, Jake Knapp now at -11 (par 71) with 3 holes to play. The 59 watch is on!

Edit: Going to the 18th, needs the bird. It is the easiest hole on the course, a 547-yard par-5.

18'8" for an eagle and history (a 58, a tie for best round ever on the Tour, Jim Furyk in 2016).

Edit: It's a 59, not bad, he joins 13 others.

Max shoots -4 but has 3 bogeys. He’ll probably end up in the mid 30s with a cut line likely around -6 if scoring keeps up. None of the top players has any bogeys.

Alex E and T99 through 8 holes. His approach shots have been awful, even his birdie was over 10 feet. He really needs to get it together and go at least -4 over the next 10 holes.

Alex -1 and will be in the hundreds by the end of the day. He has a lot of work to do tomorrow just to make the cut which will probably be around -6 unless they decide to toughen the course. About the only way to do that in 12 hours is with pin placements (I don't know if those are set before the tournament, I suspect they are because of practice rounds) or shaving the greens. I give him about a 40% chance of making it, he's certainly capable of a much better round and climbing the board.

Great round by Alex on a pressure day to make the cut. A near flawless -7 and currently T4. He was in the 1st group out so will drop some, but that was a great day.

Alex turns it around and shoots -7 today to get to -8 overall.

Cut will be at least -5 and I’m guessing the leader will be at least -15.

I would have agreed with you...except yesterday's -12 shot a -1 today. That's golf. He still leads, but now Alex is definitely in the mix. Glad we were wrong.

And the cut better go to -5. Otherwise there's going to be over 90 guys making the cut.

Alex is currently #7 in the AON Swing 5. It's a good circumstance that he is paired today with Dahmen today, who is #5. Others to watch today are Ghim, Svensson, and Griffin.

Course is there for the taking. Over half the field on the course and only 1 golfer over par. Alex needs to go at least -5 today.
