UNC’s high press looked effective in disrupting Duke’s technical game, and as the half went on Duke started resorting quickly to lofted long passes that were 50-50 balls. Robbie said at halftime Duke needed to be more patient with the ball. Duke looks more skilled and maybe faster, but UNC has a high work rate and pesty. UNC’s back line looked quite good. If Duke can find its passing rhythm that would be good. A Freeman injury would be truly scary.
