Right? I think it's a fairly polite loss but what do I know...
I have a question about our incoming qb. I thought he was supposed to be a big deal. I understand we are paying him a fortune, like he was a VERY big deal. So why am I not seeing him mentioned in either a) lists of next years potential top ACC quarterbacks or b) lists of exciting new transfers coming in. I’ve read maybe a half dozen articles on these topics and haven’t seen him mentioned once. What gives?

And coming from Tulane. Speaking of football, saw about 5 members of the football team at Southpoint last saturday. Well I'm assuming they're Duke football players given they were wearing Duke football gear, all college guys and they were huge.

As of last Thursday the time hadn’t been set , although Coach Diaz, speaking at the Blue Devil Club luncheon, speculated that it would be at noon. Your post confirms the time!
Darian Mensah who we are reportedly paying $8 mil for 2 years (4/yr). I haven’t been following closely but I’m surprised I hear nothing about him, supposedly with the biggest NIL contract in cfb.

I know who he is. My reply was meaning that "He's playing for Duke; don't expect him to be on many radars", other than the occasional story about how much $ he's getting.
Got it - figured you would be in the know. An ESPN article in Dec called him the best player in the portal. But a few days ago I see an article about the top 10 portal players coming to ACC, including 2 or 3 qbs, and he isn’t even mentioned. Has his stock dropped?
