Ugh we really had a player transfer to UNC?
Paul Skenes would tell you that being a great pitcher on a meh team hurts your W-L record. That's an actually very interesting question. Does getting "seen" on a good team but being meh outweigh getting the most cutting-edge coaching and pitch design guidance and having a great individual season for a losing team? Which sets you up for potential professional success? Or maybe it's "I can coast academically and contribute to a winning program and have fun, I don't plan to be a pro"? I'm sure there are more permutations.
That is why I find the idea of a "brotherhood" laughable.Ugh we really had a player transfer to UNC?
Not sure it's about you. But you're welcome to see it however you like. That is why I find the idea of a "brotherhood" laughable.
Looking forward to these kind of post ending. Like pouring vinegar in a woundNoah Jouras, the transfer catcher from Davidson, (see original post on this thread) has switched his commitment from Duke to Virginia. He had originally committed to Duke while Pollard was still at Duke.
Any relation to Rico?Just saw another transfer committed. Sammy Petrocelli from Stanford.
Pitcher, didn’t appear in any games as a freshman so maybe four years at Duke?Just saw another transfer committed. Sammy Petrocelli from Stanford.
Do it again!Another RHP committed. Peter Lemke from D3 Denison, where he was 9-1 for a Denison team that made the D3 World Series for first time in school history.
Let me guess, he’s going to UVA?Top recruit for next year…NJ player of the year as a junior decommitted.
Thanks for the updates. Losing Hindy hurts. He pitched a lot of quality innings down the stretch this past season.RHP from Wichita State, Caleb Anderson, to Duke
In other news, former Duke pitcher Mark Hindy committed to Tennessee.
