A sneaky fantastic part of having Foster and Evans returning is having an all-Charlotte starting backcourt. There was a time in the recent past where this was unfathomable. Charlotte has always been a sstaunchly UNC city. Maybe more than any other part of the state. To the point where Duke didn't really want to play NCAA tournament games in Charlotte because it was behind enemy lines.
Excellent observation as Duke b-ball coverage was miserable when I lived there. All-UNCheat love with Duke/State an afterthought. Of course, same thing happened with Kinston’s Brandon Ingram.
