actually, he does have a very funny personality. He doesn't show it from the press conference because he always hated those. Now he's really funny and insightful on air, and his players generally say he's always been funny and had personality.

That said, I'm not gonna argue the EWWW factor here.....which I think was your main point. (are we doing an Only Fans adjacent chat here again?) EWWW

haha... I just texted the article to my SIL and told him that, if it happens, imagine that his girlfriend is not even born yet.

Belichick ain’t coming to UNC. As a matter of fact, this has nothing to do with Belichick. This is UNC flat out needing a hug and assurances that they’re still the prettiest package under the tree. They’re not of course. State has been stealing their milk money for the last1900 days or whatever, but this is UNC trying to gin up media interest afraid that nobody’s looking or really cares.

I wonder how much the Cheats are paying Bill to show up and interview, with the understanding that he won’t be hired? Maybe $100k? More?

Ahh sarcasm on DBR no less. Belichick may be serious enough to want to at least explore the idea., UNC is not. It would be a foolish hire. Belichick has no feel for the college game and the politicking necessary to manage the recruiting relationships at the HS level. Most of it can be delegated to assistants but you still have to be involved and accessible and show up for countless booster club functions. In trying to paint Mack’s hire as a success, the point is frequently made that this is the part of the job he has handled well. Further in this new era of NIL it seems apparent that the final incarnation of what CFB will be has yet.to emerge and given the complexities involved it would be foolish to gamble on hiring another Septuagenarian. It simply makes no sense.

...unless......unless.......they figure a one or two year run by Bill B would give them some cache while the "incarnation of what CFB" will become shakes out a bit. I agree with your overall point, but sometimes counterintuitive is the way to go.
