Blue Devils in the NBA 2025-2026

Coop. What can you say?
Have to remind myself that he came out early and should be a freshman at Duke right now. There were times last year where he didn't quite get it done late in games and we lost.....and I remind myself that he was 17 and the best player in the country. I am really looking forward to seeing what his ceiling is going to be

Zion had a couple of meh games in a row recently, but he roared back ferociously against the Marvinless Wizards, scoring 31 on 12-14 FGs. Coulda had 35 or more with a decent night at the FT line (7-13).

Extensive in-person Kon sit down with Bill Simmons

Starts around 53 minutes in and goes for over an hour. It's focused on his rookie-year to date. Kon is such a cool kid, he interviews like he plays, cool, calm, efficient, heady but with just the right amount of amusing flair.

Last night I went to a Duke alumni event here in LA featuring Justin Robinson, player development coach for the Lakers. I got about 7-8 minutes one on one with him before he did his presentation and then Q&A with the group, and he is a super guy. Really warm, intelligent, funny, and makes conversation easily. His presentation about his life, his path from growing up in San Antonio, through his Duke playing years, then playing in Montenegro and Israel (he was there on October 7), then coming back to the Duke family under Coach Scheyer, then being plucked by JJ to come out and work for him and the Lakers was really engaging. J-Rob answered everyone's questions and did so in an interesting, insightful way. Just a great guy who anyone should be rooting for, and a fabulous representative of Duke University.

Oh how fun! Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm not surprised to hear that he's just as pleasant and personable as one would expect. Really nice of him to take the time to do this event!

does he have any younger brothers at home?

After initially flunking his medical, Cassius Stanley tried again and has joined Lithuanian club Siauliai.

Cam Reddish, though, left in December after nine games for personal reasons.

Cassius was ocassionally electrifying his 1 year at Duke. Unfortunately, he didn't have enough other skills to make much of an NBA career. Hopefully he can earn some good money and have a culturally eclectic life for a while in Europe.
