Blue Devils in the NBA 2024-2025

Paolo Banchero with a big night for ORL going for 36 and 10 to take down ATL.
But Jayson Tatum pulled off the triple double in the BOS win over PHI.
Grayson Allen scored 11 for PHO.
Duke alum scored 101 pts in the NBA last night.

I think Jahlil Okafor's 10-day with the Pacers expired today. He got into the game with the Knicks for a few minutes on 02/11. He's worked hard, it appears, to redefine his body + game. I hope he gets another shot somewhere.

Jah made $150,179 in his 10 days with the team. I believe his G-League deal only pays him $40 grand so this is quite the step up. Sadly, according to reports, the Pacers have decided not to sign him to a second 10-day deal. I think he is ineligible for a 2-way deal as he has too much NBA experience for those contracts that are aimed at youngsters. So, it is back to the G-League for Jah.

He's 29 and I really hope a team gives him a chance in the off-season to make a roster next year. Feels like his skills have to have some value. He says he's been really working on rebounding better, which was a problem for him earlier in his career (along with being super slow on D).

Speaking of contracts, Jah earned more than $21 mil during his first 6 years in the league. I hope he invested it wisely and has a good money manager.

Flip with a nice double-double, stuffing the stat sheet going for 20-11-5-2-1, along with 4-4 from 3. Good game for the Jazziest Filipowski out there...
Also, just wanted to note that Wendell Moore has scored more points this (perhaps his final) year than he scored in the first 2 of his career (75 vs 60). His minutes are up significantly, but his shooting still isn't a strength for him. Maybe more minutes in CHO will help him find his groove.
Tre Jones may have a diminished role in CHI, but still finding ways to be effective, going for 4-4-5 p-r-a.

I’m happy he’s getting some run, but part of it is that the Hornets have lost their last two games by 40+ (to SAC) and 50+ (Portland). Horrific even by their standards.

Big night for Duke alums in the NBA, scoring 209 total points!
Kyrie topped the list, scoring 35 points with 7-4-3-2 r-a-s-b. A real stat stuffer of a night.
In the Battle of the Currys, Seth's stew may have been hotter than Steph's, shooting 4-6 from deep for 14 points, whereas Steph had 15 pts on 6-14 and 2-9 shooting. However, in the same game, both Mark Williams and Wendell Moore had double doubles! 12&12 and 12&10 respectively. Wendell's getting more PT down there with CHO, and he's doing something with it!

So…curious. Why exactly was mark williams flunked for his physical? He played a great game against the lakers the following night

Is it a dead trade now? I kinda wanted to see him with the lakers.

Curious why he doesn't consider Europe. They pay really well.

Trajan Langdon getting a lot of praise for his performance of turning around the Detroit Pistons in WSJ but it’s subscription only
