ACC Football: Week 0 and 1

With FSU and Clemson both looking poorer than usual at the start of this season, it feels like this should be Duke’s year. In fact if not now, then when?

I understand what you’re saying, but one of the stars that probably needs to align is a coach getting his program humming. I think that’s too much to ask in Diaz’ first year.

With FSU and Clemson both looking so good at the start of this season, it feels like this should be the year to put money on the ACC lawyers... BC taking the knee—whoda thunk it?

I wish BC added a TD at the end…

But hilarious to see a team taking a knee at FSU because they were winning by so much! Hahahaha!

Any day FSU loses is a great day!!

If Riley and Elko didn’t leave, this would have been our year. We’re in a quasi-rebuilding mode unfortunately after the transfers and departures. Stars need to align for us to win ACC. The departing of Jimbo and Riley really hurt given this year appears to be more open than usual

I actually think 2022 could’ve been the year if we didn’t get absolutely hosed by the refs at home against UNC. That Clemson team was not great and we’d have given them a far better game than the Heels did in Charlotte.

It is worth noting that not only is FSU 0-2 on the season, they are 0-2 in the ACC. Not only are their chances of making the ACC conference championship game vanishingly small, there is a decent chance they don't even win half their games. They still have road games left @ Duke, Notre Dame, Miami, and SMU. They play Clemson, UNC, and Florida at home. I see only 3 games where they will be much of a favorite the rest of the season.
