I guess it's hard to argue against Lashlee.....but Manny is certainly deserving as well.....which is were closer in the voting...

Diaz making history, sort of - pretty sure this is the first time in the history of the league that a Duke coach has *not* won ACC Coach of the Year for earning the first bowl bid of his Duke tenure.

I guess it's hard to argue against Lashlee.....but Manny is certainly deserving as well.....which is were closer in the voting...

I would have thought it'd be at least somewhat closer as well, and Manny would have won hands-down any other year. But no G5-promoted team had ever done anywhere near that well the first year in P4/P5, and last year UH, BYU, Cincy, and UCF all struggled, badly. That makes the 8-0 run through the conference really stand out.
