Hopefully we are not like the Titanic, going down in the second half.I could see Jon working some porthole magic before next season...players will emerge there...
Hey, easy on the spoilers! Some of us haven't seen it yet!Hopefully we are not like the Titanic, going down in the second half.
Don't bother. There's a gaping hole in the plot.Hey, easy on the spoilers! Some of us haven't seen it yet!
Man, that's cold.Don't bother. There's a gaping hole in the plot.
... as ice.Man, that's cold.
It all depends on what the Orchestra playes. They’re saying that recruiting from the subpar ‘26 class is like rearranging deck chairs in some sort of situation where doing so is pointless.
Interesting story as to why a recruit ranked #68 chose VCU over P5 offers: https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...from-every-power-conference-to-commit-to-vcu/
"VCU is a school where I know they're all-in on me. There are a lot of schools out there … SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC … you go in thinking, 'Are they going to bring in a 25-year-old senior (from the transfer portal) or something like that?' But I know (at VCU), even if I'm not getting all of the minutes my freshmen year, I know they're all-in on me. That was the biggest thing for me. The program and the whole staff is all-in on my development. They want me to come in and make an impact immediately."

DukeBasketballReport posted that news at 9:00 this morning.247 is reporting that Duke has offered Maximo Adam's, a 6'7" 205 lb SF out of California. He seems to have blow away the recruiting buzz at Peach Jam. 247 as of now ranks him at #93
I just looked. 247 has him ranked #40.247 is reporting that Duke has offered Maximo Adam's, a 6'7" 205 lb SF out of California. He seems to have blow away the recruiting buzz at Peach Jam. 247 as of now ranks him at #93
The 2026 recruit and VCU commit in that CBS Sports article is named Sammy Jackson. I wonder if his middle initial is L.
Here are some more things that Sammy Jackson may or may not have said about various power conference schools.

About Duke: "The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they could become something more."

About Florida: "This party's over."

About Indiana: "These are mediocre times... People are starting to lose hope."

About UNC: "Yes, they deserved to die, and I hope they burn in hell!"
His older brother Marcus Adams Jr. was the No. 51 ranked player in the class of 2023. He originally enrolled at Kansas before leaving, briefly committing to Gonzaga and then going to BYU. Transferred to Cal-State Northridge for his sophomore season where he was second team All-Big West and he's now enrolled at Arizona State after another transfer.
But that's his brother, not him.5 schools in 2 years…I know it’s a new age, but dang. Not a great fact pattern for those chasing Maximo.
I mean Maximo is not his brother. I guess that's the point. Who knows what Maximo will do.Yes, I’m aware. Not sure what your point is and I don’t want to assume and look foolish.
My point and opinion is that it’s not a good fact pattern. Do you think it’s a good one?
Can you post a more fully formed opinion or statement other than they are biologically related?
I try not to assign attributes of one family member to another without some kind of evidence aside from blood relation.Yes, I’m aware. Not sure what your point is and I don’t want to assume and look foolish.
