uNC just lost to Stanford at home in OT. A very good day in WBB.I read the schedules wrong, but ND does have both UNC and Louisville as the next 2 of 3 games. Winning at least one (prefer both) would be good for us.

Virginia has just been taken into overtime by 5-10 FSU. I think the ACC is a 3-team race between Duke, Louisville, and NCState. After our win today, and Carolina's loss to Stanford, we are now atop the ACC standings at 4-0.
It will most likely be a multi team tie after the rest of today's game, but that's a very nice spot to be this early in the season.

I'm guessing they wind up like last year and are an overall unimpressive team. Every year they get high praise coming out of the pre-season, and every year they don't live up. They haven't beaten a ranked team yet. (Or any good team, for that matter.)Heels?
What CB&B said.Heels?
HA! I was way wrong in my prediction, lol. I'll be shocked if they aren't at least 25th in the Coaches though.Duke gets 3 votes in the AP poll.
What flavor was Duke?LSU lost their 2nd game in a row!! Blakes with 30 pts and is CLUTCH down the stretch. I guess the cupcake diet is not good for you in the long run. But they did set some scoring records. They can eat those awards with extra sprinkles.
Blueberry. Duh!What flavor was Duke?
Don't feel bad, as much as we'd like to see it, it's meaningless. These people only look at records. I mean, uNC is ranked and doesn't have a single decent win. At this point, I give more credence to bracketology.HA! I was way wrong in my prediction, lol. I'll be shocked if they aren't at least 25th in the Coaches though.
As expected, ND did drop out.
Only one ACC team in the top 10 (Louisville at 10) and only one other team (Heels) ranked at all. (They fell six to 22)
Devilsfood.Blueberry. Duh!
For the little that it's worth at this point in the season, Creme has moved us from the outside in, going off the bubble to a 7 seed.Don't feel bad, as much as we'd like to see it, it's meaningless. We're up to #19 in the NET.
Surprise! He has us meeting Maryland in the Sweet 16 (if both make it that far). For the little that it's worth at this point in the season, Creme has moved us from the outside in, going off the bubble to a 7 seed.
Side note, "Bracketology" has a new look starting this week. It's interactive, and you can click on a team to see their history up to the current week.
I agree on that for sure.Surprise! He has us meeting Maryland in the Sweet 16 (if both make it that far).
That's one thing I would almost put money on...that the committee will try to engineer a Duke/Maryland matchup.

Louisville Cardinals at Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Jan. 15: 6 p.m., ACCN (South Bend, Indiana)
With the ACC preseason No. 1 and No. 2 teams, Duke and NC State, not playing up to expectations in the first two months, the Cardinals and Fighting Irish might be the new conference favorites. This game could determine if that's indeed the case. These two teams will also play each other in their regular-season finales, so we could be looking at a de facto championship game preview.
Well, I'm not shocked, I'm confused. Duke went from having 14 votes and ranked "28th" in the Coaches to having no votes at all.I'll be shocked if they aren't at least 25th in the Coaches though.
