She’s since doubled and tripled down. Won’t link to it b/c I don’t want to give her views, but she posted a graphic showing patent applications for… stuff… as “proof”.

She must have been cheating on her husband when they were handing out brains. Just not an intelligent person.

Here's the thing. I will argue that she is very smart, manipulative and conniving. She knows exactly what she is doing, who her audience is and what they want to hear truth be damned. First job for most politicians is getting elected. The second job for many is staying in office and she's going to do that for as long as she wants the job. She's a queen of effective misinformation and distraction. This facade she puts up just makes people underestimate. In this case putting this nutter stuff out there takes attention from the work the Biden/Harris administration is doing to help the victim who are mainly going to be Trump voters.

Doubt it, 60 Minutes is considered fake news, carries little weight for his supporters. I have a hard time believing there are any undecideds at this point. They know who they're voting for, just don't want to talk about it.

That one got to me as it should any father of daughters. I do wonder how many people see these Ads though? How many wavering Trump supporters (if such a thing exists) will get to see this? Hopefully there is some science behind the making of them.

I don't live in a swing state, so I am lucky to not get a ton of presidential election commercials. Does The Lincoln Project air these ads on television? As I said on the original post, this should be shown across college and pro football for the next month.

I have two sons and that one got to me. But I have emotions and a moral compass, which seem to be lacking in many who only seem so focused on "winning," the scary migrants and making amends for a stolen election.

Yes, though the networks can ALWAYS find ten mouth breathing dopes who "need to know more" about some "issue."

I am for a woman's right to choose, but what exactly can Harris do about this issue if she's elected? Not trying to be snarky, but the Supreme Court unfortunately struck down Roe and put this in the hands of the states regardless of how many of us feel how awful that is. It's not like Harris can address this issue by executive order or get Congress to pass legislation.

We can all agree that the two parties are apart on this issue, but in reality what can the executive branch do to impact it when elected? It's up to state referendums and legislatures to impact a woman's right in each state. Or am I missing something?

This is what I am picking up about that poll.

Harris 49%Trump 46%
It was 47-47 last month.

Kamala Harris has a 93-point net advantage with Democratic voters while Donald Trump has just an 80-point net advantage with Republicans - an indication that the unprecedented number of high profile Republicans opposing Trump are having an impact. Indeed, 9% of registered Republicans said they plan to vote for Harris, up from 5% in the last poll.

That is the best answer. Also, Trump has appointed judges who will do his dirty work. Harris can appoint judges who might see things differently. I remain convinced that if Trump wins, particularly if he also controls congress, Thomas and Alito will immediately resign and much younger (and perhaps more extreme, if that is possible) versions of them like Cannon will be appointed.

I think many of the so-called “independents” aren’t even going to vote. If you’re this wishy-washy of a person that you can’t decide between the widely divergent Republican and Democratic Party candidates then clearly you don’t have strong convictions.

Which means you are less motivated to vote.

Probably not, unfortunately. I believe they are mainly seen by already anti-Trump social media users. Preaching to the choir. My cynical side says they are more about making $ for the Lincoln Project founders.

Under U.S. v. Trump, she could arguably have Alito, Thomas, and Kavanaugh assassinated and be immune from prosecution, on the theory that setting national health care policy is a core function of the presidency. Which just goes to show how ridiculous that decision is.
