DC is different. There's testimony that Trump could have called the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of the Army to expedite deployment. He didn't. There's also testimony that during this 3 hour period while he watched it on TV, he didn't call any senior officials in his Justice Dept or at the Pentagon - or Mike Pence. He literally did nothing - almost like he was cheering on the mob...

Not sure I've ever seen Joe Rogan mentioned on here. He and Elon Musk are probably the two most influential voices out there with young men just based on their reach. Rogan has the #1 podcast on Spotify w 17M subscribers. He also has 14M subscribers to his YouTube channel.
In his latest podcast, he didn't exactly endorse Kamala Harris but he had nice things to say about her. Out of all the big newsworthy things that happened this week, it's possible this one moved the needle as much as anything...

This will be some of the more interesting moments in Trump's election interference case IMO - when these guys are called to the stand and asked to explain under oath why they weren't more prepared for Jan 6 and why, after the Capitol was breached, it took 3 hours to get the guard on the ground.

He’s not an idiot so that means he’s 100% disingenuous. Everything out of his mouth is theater. A serious person can’t take him seriously but has to be aware of what’s coming out of his mouth. Mind your blood pressure.
I’ve mentioned it before but Rogan’s beliefs tend much more toward progressive than MAGA. His much more AOC than Mike Johnson or MTG or Jim Jordon. It’s really strange that he is a venerated figure in certain circles.

As one who has never owned a gun nor felt the need to own one but respects the rights of those who choose to responsibly own very basic guns, I have generally assumed that the larger the gun, the more the owner is trying to compensate for, be it masculinity, brain power, self-esteem, or whatever else.Which one were you?
