I have a relative who has been knocking on doors for Harris/Walz for the last couple of weeks. About 10% of the people in AZ came to the door, 90% in GA and NC. No evidence of Trump having any ground game in these states or PA.
We've had four days of Trump door to door at my house. No one from Harris yet. Southern Wake County.

Um, shouldn't they be going to different houses instead of your house over and over? Seems redundant or poorly organized. But I don't know anything about canvassing so ???

Hoo boy.

Charlie Kirk said Harris “needs people to basically lie to their husbands, which they are promoting ... I find that entire advertising campaign so repulsive. It is so disastrous ... It is the embodiment of the downfall of the American family.”

“I think it's so gross. I think it's so just nauseating where this wife is wearing the American hat. She's coming in with her sweet husband, who probably works his tail off to make sure that she can ... have a nice life and provide for the family,”

Plus Jesse Watters compares such conduct to having an affair...which he had during his first marriage.

We only answered the fourth time. We actually installed a storm door last month in preparation for the election visitors. A bit disappointed we haven't had more.

The phone banking program the Dems use is pretty sweet. First of all you verify if you are talking to the correct person. If not you can report any of the following: refused or hostile, answering machine, not home, do not call, hung up and even language barrier. I don’t think the people that are marked refused or hostile will be called again and for the people that said “don’t call me again please” that’s how I marked them.

Even though I’ve already voted (first day of early voting) my wife has not. That’s probably why the Harris folks have returned to my home.

She’s going to vote on election day.

That is correct. I have canvassed in Chapel Hill. We go to the houses of voters who have not voted but, IMHO, they should be infrequent voters, e.g., last voted in 2020 or maybe 2022 in the general. No need to canvass primary voters. No one has come to my house. We vote in every election we can vote in.

Here's a nice one to start your morning. Trump says Liz Cheney should be executed by firing squad. I guess because she disagrees with him.

"Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK?” the former president said at a campaign event in Glendale with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. “Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face.”

But all he really needs/wants is one of his followers to complete the mission.

Please share. That's a direct quote from CNN. Are they lying?

I agree with Indoor66, suggesting that Liz Cheney be executed is not really what he was saying. However, it is the usual M.O. of Trump to suggest violence in proximity to those that disagree and or oppose him. This isn't anything new at all.

I think what has me most burned about that clip is that you see a montage of violent rhetoric coming from him over the years. However, during this entire release cycle CNN, and most of the media mainstream, has been treating Trump like a totally normal political candidate.

I have doubts as to whether this would actually work all the way to conclusion*, but it's nonetheless a plausible guess as to what they might have up their sleeve here.
I personally believe that doing this would lead pretty directly to civil war.

He's suggesting she go to the front lines of any war zone with a rifle and then she'd be less of a war hawk. This article is a bit better and provides more context. If CNN portrayed it as a call for execution by firing squad, they dropped the ball.
