The NL wild card scenarios are pretty crazy. But it looks like if the Dbacks win on Sunday, the Braves and Mets have to play that DH.
Well right before sitting out this one he did play in all the games in the Dodger series and then the opener against Arizona where he had three extra base hits. Seems pretty healthy to me.Poor form tommy. You obviously are not aware of Arraez’ injuries he has been managing. I wish you could call out Luis like this to his face, but I’m sure you wouldn’t if you were talking to him.
If the Mets win and the Snakes lose on Sunday, then there would be no reason to make up the games on Monday; the Mets would be a game in front, and even if they got swept in the makeup games they hold the tiebreaker. Other than that, Monday is probably on.Maybe I'm wrong, but I would think that if all three teams are tied on Sunday night, they would play two on Monday. A split and Arizona stays home, but a sweep and they would be in a long with the Monday (double) winner.
Doubling down on your poor form doesn’t make you right. It makes you even more off base.Well right before sitting out this one he did play in all the games in the Dodger series and then the opener against Arizona where he had three extra base hits. Seems pretty healthy to me.
I'm taking the under on this one.... Or maybe you should just take the insult back and acknowledge you didn’t know what you were talking about.
I'm taking the under on this one.
Me too. At any rate, Arraez wins the batting title today going 1-3 compared to Ohtani’s 1-4. It was close in the end, with Ohtani getting 197 hits in 636 ABs while Luis collected 200 on the nose in 638 ABs.I'm taking the under on this one.
Right? It shows how devalued hitting for singles is these days. Lucky for the Padres they identified this skill as a potential difference maker. How bizarre is it that Aaraez wins three straight batting titles with three different teams?
Plus, 59 steals in 63 attempts for a power guy is just insane! If he were to pitch successfully in the playoffs (Roberts has said it's not out of the question, but I doubt it will happen), his season would be even more epic. Will he end up the best player since Babe Ruth?Me too. At any rate, Arraez wins the batting title today going 1-3 compared to Ohtani’s 1-4. This underscores how remarkable Ohtani is. Arraez is a specialist with one key skill: making contact and finding grass. And yet Ohtani almost beat him out, which running away with the HR and RBI categories.
He’s got a long way to go to get close to Mays’ career numbers.Plus, 59 steals in 63 attempts for a power guy is just insane! The Braves announcers are the most obnoxious homers in all of sports.
