2024-25 DWBB Season

Well, we should know about Agot and Lara in the next 10 days, they've both indicated they will sign during the early period. I'm greedy and want both to have the #1 class, but either would still land us a top-5 class. Kara is building well.

Will there still be an "early signing period", now that the NLI has been abolished? Athletes will still need some kind of agreement with their schools, but will that agreement be something that takes place on a national schedule, the way it does today?

IDK, I just saw that it is still called the "early signing period" and it runs from the 13th to the 20th.

Do we have any recruits that are known as "lights out" shooters in this recruiting class? I should keep up with women's recruiting better.

I think they are all good scorers, but not sure about "lights out". I'm expecting another big year-to-year jump from Ashlon, remember she was the top shooter in her class.

I don't think starting means a lot on this team with the spread of talent, but here's my guess for the opening starting 5: Taina, Ashlon, Reigan, Jadyn, and Delaney. But there are a lot of interchangeable parts on this team and I expect 10 players to get significant minutes over the course of the season.

Thanks for the information. I admit I don't keep up with the Women like I did when Coach G was our coach. I will try to do better.

Duke Women looking good already. A total wipe out.

Is it my imagination (or maybe the color is off on my computer) but has the court color at CIS become much lighter than it used to be? If so, not sure I like it.

I have noticed on ACC Network broadcasts our blue looks lighter- especially for football games
